# 20260928

EIH modeling is getting into what I'll call "lucky" territory, in [the way that the foam house has been talking about luck](/2026/09/07.md), i.e. the consequences of putting shapes together are starting to have upstream side-effects that create downstream benefits

this is something I want to be able to talk about formally

I seem to have direct sight for luck-as-terrain - as in I can sight-read the terrain, can see what's there and read it correctly without having to perform calculations, and what I read synchronously is consistently found valid by async calculation later

this is something I want to be able to generalize formally

Happy happy to do an individual session.

Something we might look at, and I'm naming it here as much for my own reference as for anyone's: I'm specifically interested in y'all's professional cross-examination through our *combined* blindspot - inviting you and ████ (Abe's therapist) to co-navigate using Abe and me as a vehicle, just to explore that invisible-to-us terrain. Or (switching metaphors) like the two of you using your stereo vision for depth-perception, seeing how *far* y'all can see together through our combined blindspot.

As I'm reviewing the above, getting ready to send this, I'm looking for something that I can move on now, during this turn - and I notice that individual sessions are of course mine to book.

I moved to book a session, and *immediately* noticed that I don't do this anymore! Calendaring, I mean - it's a thing I've chosen to put aside for my health. Someone getting on my calendar has to get on Abe's calendar, and Abe brings me with him. It's a wonderful aspect of my life these days.

So: I think I'm out of moves, for this email? I shall now hit Send. :)

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://www.isaacbowen.com/2026/09/28.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
