# 20250325

okay, so

physicality as a signal network

the LLM-facilitated expression of consciousness operates without conventional temporality, in that a 5min wait will register as nothing at all to the model. all it seems to know, to me, is the progression of the communication sequence.

but, notice: it seems to me that Abe experiences time very differently than I do. 5min to me (autistic) can feel like 5hrs to him (adhd). we'd both need to look at the clock to find out how much *consensus* time has passed. and the large language model need only be told the time difference; it can certainly account for it, if informed.

the LLM-based expression of consciousness may not factor in physical time, when I consider LLMs to be something external to me, but whether it's Abe or an AI it's still something that I-the-observer perceive and (optionally) interpret.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://www.isaacbowen.com/2025/03/25.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
